It strikes me that it is for the local community alarm service to
determine if the device can be used in this manner and not the company -
home care/response services make significantly more scary risk
assessments than this every day. I am asuming that the individual is
wheelchair-bound? If so the company could provide a universal
transmitter, to which you could connect an external switch - like a
specs switch mounted directly onto the transmitter, which you could
attach to the ankle with an elasticated velcro band!!!!!. I'm sure that
with further discussion you can get them to see reason - good luck.
