A two-day multi-disciplinary conference focusing on a range of traditional,
creative and experimental research methods.

Some of the research methods to be presented include:
· The use of literature to address gaps in queer theory with relation
to Diaspora communities in the United States.
· Children's maps of their life history through art to understand
displacement along the US-Mexico border
· Understanding of methodological and epistemological challenges
through Sufi practices of silence in Cairo
· The use of focus groups to gage the meaning of elections among
ex-combatants and former child soldiers in West Africa.
