HR Research Specialist

The essential requirements for this role are:
„X Strong hands on experience in HR statistics, analytical
competencies, HR research and planning;
„X Min. 6 - 8 years of relevant experience in Research & Development
with a minimum of
2 years at senior level;
„X Min. Bachelor Degree in Management or Statistics or Mathematics
and complemented by post graduate studies.
The Research & Development Specialist¡¦s role is a new position which has
arisen as direct result of dynamic growth and development of a public sector
organisation. The objectives of the role are:
„X Assist with the establishment and development of a unique Human
Resources Management R&D Department.
„X Undertake applied and theoretical research in association with
leading research affiliations and institutions on national, regional and
international levels.
„X Deliver cutting-edge integrated services in HRM, in accordance with
international best practice HR strategies, schemes, policies and processes.
The successful candidate will possess the relevant depth of experience and
advanced knowledge to effectively drive and undertake:
„X Conducting research, knowledge sharing and statistical data
analysis activities
„X Application of research & statistical tools and methodologies for data
collection, analysis, extraction and manipulation
„X Documentation and interpretation of research findings and statistics
„X Preparation of reports, recommendations and presentations
The success in this role will also be underpinned by high level skills for:
„X Team management and staff development
„X Information Management
„X Communication & Relationship Management
„X Problem solving
„X Negotiation & Influencing
„X Computing with relevant to R&D statistical software programs and
surveying tools.
An attractive tax free salary and allowances package of up to US$200,000 per
annum is offered. Further, medical cover, relocation and travel assistance at
the start and conclusion of the contract as well as a bonus scheme are also
applicable to this position. The duration of this contract is two years and the
contract may be renewed for a further two years.
