2009 SPSP Pre-conference on Psychology of Religion-Spirituality
Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009, Tampa, FL
POSTER SESSION: We are now accepting submissions of original research,
to
be presented in poster form, that address topics in psychology of
religion/spirituality, preferably from a social-personality perspective.
The first 15 to 20 reasonable submissions will very likely be accepted.
Submissions should be emailed to [log in to unmask] and must
include:
1) title, 2) author(s) and affiliation(s), 3) abstract -- 250 words or
less, 4) and email of the contact person. The poster session will most
likely be about noon - 1:30pm in the same room where lunch is served.
Presenters must register for the pre-conference.

PRE-CONFERENCE OVERVIEW: This pre-conference will highlight classic,
contemporary, and emerging empirical research at the interface of
social-personality psychology and the psychology of
religion-spirituality.
The program will consist of invited research presentations, a poster
session, and informal opportunities for networking during breakfast, a
snack break, and lunch. Invited presentations will be delivered by Adam
Cohen, Julie Exline, Nicholas Gibson, Peter Hill, Mike McCullough, David
Myers, Crystal Park, and Constantine Sedikides.
