Colleagues,
We are pleased to inform you of the NATO-sponsored Advanced Research
Workshop (ARW) on "Security and Environmental Sustainability of
Multimodal Transport" to take place at Imperial College London on 8 and
9 January 2009.
This ARW is a meeting to enable experts to make a critical assessment of
existing knowledge, identify directions for future research, and to
promote close working relationships between scientists from different
countries and with different professional experience.
The two-day workshop on 8th and 9th January 2009 gathers specialists
from various scientific fields related to the security and environmental
sustainability of transportation. The focus will be on the application
of risk management techniques in multimodal transportation. The
organisers will publish the results in the NATO Science Series.
You are invited to participate in the aforementioned event as observers.
Specialists as well as public and private institutions with activity in
the field are encouraged to participate by registration.
To register please contact Urszula ([log in to unmask])
or Solmaz ([log in to unmask]). Further information about the
event, including the registration fee, may be found on
http://arw-london2009.com/.
