Architecture and Therapeutic Environments?
04.00 Closing Remarks
"How can we build a different relationship, a non-exploitative,
non-appropriative relationship to the world and to others? This seminar
explores Zero-Carbon Schools, Education for Sustainable Development and
Green Therapy.
Key questions include: the role of community agency in designing for
well-being; what we can learn from the history and theory of alternative
educational and therapeutic communities; and the relation of the social
space to new practices and pedagogies. This seminar will be of interest
to all those concerned with how we can build environments which
encourage healthier lifestyles and sustainable behaviour?"
