If you have the *_seg_inv_sn.mat files from SPM5, then you can indeed
transform them back to the original images. Use the Normalise button and
chose the option to write normalised only. Specify a bounding box of [NaN
NaN NaN; NaN NaN NaN] and a voxel size of [NaN NaN NaN] to obtain
inverse-warped versions with the same dimensions as the original images.
