Yes, why not discuss ESP and ghosts? To me this would seem like an
excellent opportunity to discuss such matters as the nature of
consciousness and the self, and whether they could exist outside of an
animal's brain.
"But sir," asks a student. "Couldn't the self continue to exist after
death as some kind of energy field?" To which the teacher replies:
"What, exactly, is an energy field, and can it process information
like a animal's nervous system?"
