The contribution of working animals in the aftermath of disaster

This seminar will be of interest to organisations and people working with
traction and pack animals and also to students and newly qualified
professionals who would like the opportunity to work in developing countries
for the welfare of animals and the benefit of the owners dependent on them.
The afternoon will consist of presentations and discussions about the
immediate requirements following a disaster, the role of the army and NGOs in
disaster management and discussions about the role of traction animals
following disaster as well as presentations from recipients of TAWS/BVA grants.
