Within the framework of postdoctoral positions granted by the
University of Rennes,
the theory group "Simulation of Interactions between Atoms, Molecules
and Photons"
at the Institute of Physics in Rennes (France) proposes various
research projects :
Non-adiabatic dynamics in molecular systems
Ultra-cold collisions in optical lattices
Theoretical study of multiphoton ionisation of atoms in an EUV free-
electron laser field
Rotational relaxation at low temperature and spectral lineshapes
Molecular processes inside helium superfluid nanodroplets
The date of the PhD defense must be less than 12 months ago or not
later than
31st December 2008. There is no nationality restriction.
Candidates with a PhD obtained outside France will be preferred.
The salary is 1830 euros per month after social contributions.
The deadline for application is 30th September 2008.
