Dear MCG list member
The Autumn 2008 meeting and AGM is fast approaching - 19th November.
Booking for this event at London Transport Museum will open in October.
Please look out for announcements.
In the meantime, can I ask you to turn your thoughts to 2009 and beyond.
We are currently looking for venues to host future meetings and I would
be delighted to hear from any member who would like to volunteer to host
the group. We especially welcome approaches by regions or institutions
who have not previously held a meeting, or at least not for a long time.
Hosting a meeting involves a certain amount of planning and commitment
from the host institution but the MCG is now in a position to assist
with costs to cover room hire and refreshments.
Your only other commitment is to provide speakers from your institution
or region who would like to showcase their work or provoke debate on any
issue of the day.
Please contact me directly at [log in to unmask] for an
initial discussion.
I look forward to hearing from you.
