The following 'Write Chinese' song has a kinesthetic accompaniment - as
students sing "Yi, Er, San" they write the three strokes for the
character 'kou3' in the air, then point to their open mouth with the index
fingers of both hands as they sing "kou".
The tune is that used for this song:
'This old man, he played two, he played knick-knack on my shoe;
With a knick-knack paddy-whack, give a dog a bone,
This old man came rolling home.'
Unfortunately I don't know its title, but all British schoolkids surely still know it.
寫 漢字﹐寫 漢字﹐
我們 這樣 寫 漢字﹕
從 上 到 下﹐從 左 到 右
一﹐二﹐三﹐就 寫下‘口’。
Any mistakes?
