Hello
I'm looking from some advice, particularly from those of you using
SerialsSolutions or similar knowledge base / ERM.
We've recently moved across to single sign-on at Kingston, using
Shibboleth where we can, and OpenAthens for resources not yet ready for
the new system. Changing information at a provider level has been quick
and easy, but we are running into problems with access to titles where
the URLs cannot be easily generated or changed.
My question is this - does anyone have a solution to changing individual
title URLs within a knowledge base where you have to make changes
individually, such as SerialsSolutions? Has anyone already changed a
database-level URL and managed to effect the right changes at a title
level?
And has anyone explored asking SerialsSolutions or similar to import
changed data for them - if so, has it been effective?
Any thoughts would be welcome - including from providers who might be
able to advise us where to find information for their particular
resources to enable seamless access to continue.
Thanks very much
Louise
