Hi folks
We can do the georeferencing and seamless layers etc. We would normally get the scanning done by someone else, then do the georeferencing in-house. We could therefore either manage it all for you, or do georeferencing on scanned images supplied, which might be a bit cheaper overall for you for a little more hassle.
More off-list if you still need help,
cheers
Crispin

Hi Helen
I have been touting for business for this recently and got a number of companies to quote (just by googling things).
As Pete says not many of them can do the geo-referencing, as most of the companies I was in touch with were about scanning office documents.
However, two possible companies are as below:
NOTE: We haven't had work from any of these people so I have no idea if any of them are any good. I think our PROW people had used Gardline and seemed happy to send more work their way, but I am not sure of the details of what was involved in that work

hope that helps

Hello,
We're currently thinking of getting our HER film maps digitised
(1:10,000 OS maps with film overlays with the sites drawn on). We'd
like these to be scanned, georeferenced and made into a seamless layer
to go onto the HER, sort of a historic record. Does anyone know of
people who can do this? We were wondering if there were people other
than Landmark. ;)
Thanks,
Helen Wells
