GIS Account Manager
Home based
My client are currently seeking an Account Manager for the Local and Central
Government market sectors.
You will be required to proactively identify opportunities; develop and deliver
effective presentations highlighting the benefits of enterprise-wide use of
geographic analysis using their market leading technology. The ability to close
opportunities to meet demanding but realistic sales targets is essential. We
offer the flexibility to work from a home base if desired, and an attractive
remuneration package and the potential for a performance related bonus.
Applicants should be experienced in Account Management and be able to
demonstrate commitment to success, in a challenging business environment.
The work will involve responding to Invitations to Tender, creating value
propositions, identifying business need, and proposing effective solutions.
Ensuring an appropriate mix of products and services is provided to clients.
Closing opportunities to meet demanding but realistic sales targets.
The person should have:
A good level of education including well developed communication and
interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels.
Strong IT and numeracy skills.
Self motivation and focus, with the ability to work alone with minimal direct
supervision.
A professional and ethical attitude to work with the capability to develop
strong, long term relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
A full driving licence.
