What thread is that? For eddy_current correction you should use the b0.
Peace,
Matt.

Subject: [FSL] dti which volume as reference volume
Hi, I'd like to ask what the general recommendation for the reference
volume during eddy current correction in FDT is.
As I understood many people using the b0 (since in most sequences b0 is
the first volume), but then some thread on the archives doesn't
recommend this. Which in my opinion makes sense since its very
dissimalar from the other volumes.
So what should one use b0 or the first non-b0 volume?
Thanks, Michael
