To: The UK EISCAT Community
I am writing to remind you of the closing date for the next round of
applications for UK time on EISCAT is MONDAY 15 SEPTEMBER 2008. It has
been agreed that this round will go ahead despite the current funding
uncertainties. We would therefore again like to encourage anyone who
wishes to make use of the EISCAT facilities to submit applications for
as many experiments as possible, and to make use of the time awarded
while it still remains possible to do this.
The procedure for submitting applications is the same as it been in the
past, with a copy each to:-
Gareth Chisham ([log in to unmask]).
Ian McCrea ([log in to unmask]).
Sarah-Jane Pritchard
([log in to unmask])
As a further point: I would like to remind those who intend to run an
experiment at EISCAT in October that the closing date for bookings is
WEDNESDAY 10 SEPTEMBER 2008, which is next Wednesday. Time should
therefore be booked as a matter of urgency. I am drawing this to your
attention as I am aware that some people are hoping to take part in the
EISCAT/SPEAR campaign planned for that month.
