It would be open to you to assess the mat
Not necessarily.
It would be open to you to assess the material and make a determination
under s7(4)(b) - particularly if it is clear that she would not be
seeing anything she did not know anyway.
If you cannot do that you could
(a) refuse access under s7(4) or (more likely)
(b) disclose redacted but refuse inspection - there is no right of
inspection as such - just to communication in an intelligible form and
copies of the information (note: information - not documents)

Subject: [data-protection] Joint applications
If a couple have made a joint housing application and then one of them
makes a subject access request to view files relating to their request
(minutes of meetings, notes etc) is it necessary to obtain third party
consent of the other partner to disclose any instances where he is
mentioned ?
In the past we have asked for separate applications by husband and wife
but in these cases there were incidents involving only one of them at a
time.
