MRC Epidemiology Unit, Cambridge
MRC Career Development Fellow (Post-doctoral)
Three years fixed term £25,368 - £31,048 per annum
The MRC Epidemiology Unit has positions open for non-clinical or clinical
Career Development Fellows (post-doctoral level) in three year training and
development positions. We have a wide portfolio of research programmes, but
subscribers to this mailing list are most likely to be interested in our
research on the effects of interventions to promote walking and cycling as
part of the iConnect programme (www.trg.soton.ac.uk/iconnect), a multicentre
interdisciplinary study of the Sustrans Connect2 programme of investment in
walking and cycling infrastructure which is funded by the Engineering and
Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC). Our iConnect postdoctoral
position will involve a combination of methodological development, study
design and the collection and analysis of original data, with a particular
focus on measuring, evaluating and understanding the impacts of the
interventions on active travel, physical activity and public health.
