Building on the recommendations of the recent JISC/Academy assessment campaign, the JISC-founded plagiarismadvice.org <http://plagiarismadvice.org/> service (formerly the Plagiarism Advisory Service) are seeking to develop an short online guide outlining key issues and suggested approaches to addressing academic misconduct and internet plagiarism. The guide will take the form of an online briefing paper and a podcast highlighting examples of best practice sourced from within the sector.
We would like to highlight some of the innovative work in both formative and summative assessment which takes places within the community, and would like to signpost particular individuals, institutions or resources which have been developed as exemplars of best practice in addressing internet plagiarism in assessment to inform development of the guide.
Anyone who is interested in either contributing resources, best practice examples or piloting the guides should contact me directly by email <mailto:[log in to unmask]> by Friday 3 October.
Many thanks,
Gill Rowell, Academic Advisor, plagiarismadvice.org <http://plagiarismadvice.org/>
