Apologies for cross-posting
At the MeCCSA conference held at Cardiff University in January this year,
Toby Miller suggested that media studies has contributed ‘nothing’ to debates
about climate change.
What about media, communications and cultural studies higher education? If
you are a lecturer developing relationships between environmental
sustainability and media / communications / cultural studies curriculum,
teaching and learning, I would be interested to hear from you. I am collecting
examples for a publication examining disciplinary approaches to
the ‘sustainability agenda’.
If you are interested please email Debbie Flint at [log in to unmask] (by
Wednesday 10th September) and I’ll send you some more information.
