This is what I thought I did yesterday. I probably did something wrong
then, because upon trying again:
tar -xzvf starjava_jni_intel_leopard.tar.gz
mv *.jnilib /Applications/splat-vo/lib/i386/
open /Applications/splat-vo/lib/splat.jnlp
it works perfectly now, including error estimates on fitted line
parameters! That's a happy start to the new week.
