Dear HweeLing,
You could customise our maximum probability map based on 20 healthy
adult subjects (Hammers A, Allom R et al., Hum Brain Mapping 2003). It
contains the superior temporal gyrus and the middle/inferior temporal
gyrus in MNI/ICBM152 space after normalisation with SPM(99); the STS
would simply be the lateral boundary. You could determine the boundary
voxels and then grow that region; this would give you the region of high
probability location of the STS in MNI/ICBM space.
However, at the time we had only followed the sulcus from the anterior
end of the amygdala to a posterior landmark of the hippocampus;
depending on your tasks that may not be anterior or posterior enough.
New improved versions are in the making but not available yet (except
for two year olds: http://www.brain-development.org/).

I read the paper by Taku Ochiai et al (Neuroimage, 2004), however, I'm
not so sure how this might be achieved.
