Dear Chris,
Have you tried compiling from the sources?
This would be the best solution - as then you could use the new,
improved features which we are actively supporting. We wouldn't
encourage you to use the old version unless you really have to.
You may need to use the system's own tcl/tk instead of the one
supplied, but that is possible by setting up the environment
variables FSLTCLSH and FSLWISH appropriately.
So try this and let us know if you have any trouble.
