As part of their regional workshop programme, Netskills will be running the following workshops in Oxford:
1. Using Technology to Support Work-Related Learning *FREE WORKSHOP*, 24th September

This workshop will explore a variety of technological resources and investigate their pedagogic value in terms of work based and work related learning. It is aimed at lecturers, learning technologists and educational developers interested in the use of technology to enhance learning.
Attendance on this workshop is free to people who work in the Further and Higher Education sector.
2. Web Quests, Treasure Hunts, Hotlists & Subject Samplers, 25th September

Fed up with passive, page turning e-learning? Engage your learners in active, dynamic, enquiry based e-learning by developing realistic problem solving activities that encourage the application of analytical, creative and critical thinking skills.
3. Using Technology to Support the Student Learning Experience *FREE WORKSHOP*, 15th October

This workshop will explore a variety of technological resources and investigate their pedagogic value in supporting students. It is aimed at lecturers, learning technologists and educational developers interested in the use of technology to enhance learning and enrich the student learning experience.
Attendance on this workshop is free to people who work in the Further and Higher Education sector.
4. Effective e-Learning with Moodle, 16th October

The Moodle learning environment is becoming increasingly popular in the UK education sector. It is free to use, having been developed through the Open Software model, and is designed using sound pedagogical principles. This workshop introduces Moodle, its main features and demonstrates why Moodle is different from other learning environments.
You will be given access to your own installation of Moodle for 4 weeks after this workshop.
