We have our (local cluster) infortrends hung off LSI logic cards
(LSI22320RB ual port ones) and they've been fine, and are supported in
standard SL4; The LSI cards are ~ £150-£180 a throw.
If I were you I'd get non-Adaptec cards in place before you do anything
serious like fscking these arrays; if we really think the combination
of the adaptecs with the infortrends corrupts data then there's a serious
risk of any operation on the disks making things worse.
