Dear All,
Members will be interested in this notice of a forthcoming production.
Regards,
John
Dear Mr Walker:
I´m pleased (and happy!) to announce you that, as I advanced you some
months ago, rehearsals of The man who would be king have begun during
the first week of august. The play is a coproduction between TIGRE
TIGRE TEATRO and the NATIONAL THEATRE in Spain (Teatro María
Guerrero). First performance will be on october 3th in the Teatro
Principal de Zamora; later, on 20th of november, the production will
arrive to the National Theatre in Madrid until the first week of
january. From then on it will be on tour. JOSE LUIS PATIÑO, who is a
regular member of the Compañía Nacional de Teatro Clásico (the spanish
equivalent of the Royal Shakespeare Company) plays Danny Dravot.
MARCIAL ALVAREZ, who is a stage and tv star, is Peachey Carnehan. Set
designs have been created by multiawarded spanish designers Juan Sanz
and Miguel Angel Coso. The play has been written and is being directed
by the signer of this message. I promise to keep you informed.
Best wishes
Ignacio García May
