The Royal Institution's mathematics education team is seeking an
assistant to provide general clerical and administrative services.
On a daily basis the successful candidate will assist with the
administration and organisation of Mathematics Masterclasses, Family Fun
Days, Science for Schools lectures, and related activities. We are
looking for an enthusiastic and organised person, keen to support young
people in their learning.
Our dynamic team liaises with co-organisers of joint projects such as
regional masterclass groups, schools, universities, local authorities,
organisations such as the Further Mathematics Network, Magic Mathworks
Travelling Circus, NRICH, the UK Mathematics Trust, charities and
governmental bodies. The new assistant will also support these liaisons
and attend related mathematics/science events.
