Dont know it, David, but he can be very funny. There was a book published by
the Saltire Society about two years ago, Spirits of the Age, 2005 which had
biographical pieces by various Scottish literary characters including
Alasdair. From this and similar pieces,Alasdair comes across as a belle
lettrist, but many of his pieces are as hard to locate as this one and not
widely circulated. At any rate, he has boxes of undistributed novels under
the sink at his home in Glasgow.
