Salary: £25,135 - £29,138 per annum, pro rata
The University of Glamorgan wishes to appoint a Research Assistant
from September to December 2008 to undertake research as part of its
Contemporary British Television project, based in the Cardiff School
of Creative and Cultural Industries. The successful applicant will
have an undergraduate and/or postgraduate degree in a relevant
academic discipline. S/he will be expected to undertake literature
reviews, undertake qualitative audience research, transcribe interview
data and work with colleagues to design and implement a small-scale
audience research project focused upon BBC Wales' Coal House series.
The appointee will become a member of the Department of Media and
Communication, and will be expected to work closely with the Centre
for the Study of Media and culture in Small Nations.
