There are two ways of getting off most lists.  One is to go to the website where the list resides, and take yourself off, following their instructions.  In this case, our list is at 
http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/
And you search for:
MATURE-LEARNING
 
 
The other way is to send a message as Sheila did, and when I see it, I, as moderator, can take you off the list. Sheila is now off.
 
Of course I am sorry there was a bit of time-wasting, because it is easy for people to forget that their personal messages go to everyone. I think we need to be a bit tolerant of this.  I would also like to prompt some fresh discussion.  So my next message gives you an indication of how I am thinking of revising my course on older learning.  I will welcome your comments on this.

Sheila, I agree that there has been some unnecessary post recently. However you put yourself on this list so you have to remove yourself. I think that you do this by sending a message with unsubscribe as the message
