Renae,
Not my area of expertise, but is there any chance the name could in fact
be a pseudonym for Giordano Bruni? In which case I believe cosmography
would be right, though "teatro ... della terra" also seems to suggest
geography.
Just an idea ...

Subject: Cataloguing query
I'm in the process of cataloguing a book which has me stumped, in terms
of assigning a subject header. The book in question is: Dichiaratione
Imprint: In Venetia : Appresso Gratioso Perchacino, 1577.
Collation: [48] p. ; 20 cm.
According to WorldCat, there are 2 copies in France, and I've also seen
a copy in the EDIT16, but neither assigns subject headers. I've used the
term 'cosmography' in the meantime. I also can't seem to find any
information on Giordano himself. Any suggestions would be very welcome.
