"World Politics is a world-class journal and Cambridge University Press is
a world-class press. The 'marriage' is a natural one. We expect the journal
to continue to flourish with the help of all the assets that Cambridge
brings to the business of scholarly publication." --Atul Kohli, Princeton
University

The Princeton Institute for International and Regional Studies and
Cambridge University Press are pleased to announce a partnership to publish
World Politics, beginning in 2009.
World Politics., a quarterly journal of political science founded in 1948,
is one of the premier journals in the field. Renowned for publishing
innovative work in international relations and comparative politics, the
journal is regularly chosen by top political scientists as a venue for
their best work.
With a circulation of more than 3000 libraries and individuals in over 70
nations, World Politics serves an international community of scholars in
political science and other disciplines. The journal is edited at Princeton
University by an editorial committee of leading scholars. The Committee is
supported by an editorial board of eminent academics from other
institutions.
Cambridge University Press publishes more than 230 peer-reviewed academic
journals in print and online. Together with an award-winning list of
scholarly books, Cambridge's distinguished journals list in political
science forms one of the most valuable collections of research in political
science available. World Politics.will be an important contribution to that
collection.
In moving to Cambridge, World Politics will benefit from worldwide
marketing and a global sales reach. It will be a prominent addition to
Cambridge's market-leading online service, Cambridge Journals Online (CJO).
Simon Ross, Journals Director at Cambridge, says that World Politics will
add another flagship to Cambridge's fleet of world-class journals in
political science. "World Politics is a terrific journal and will, without
argument, further consolidate our position as the publisher of choice in
politics and IR".
