Larry
I have ADHD, and 'I swim like a brick'... As you rightly say, this is with me having co-mordid 'dyspraxia' (DCD), TS and Asperger Syndrome and having co-ordination difficulties...
Also, I have never been able to relax at public swimming baths and would react to the chlorine and other 'sensory issues'...
When I was in 'care' as a child I used to get forced to going to the public swimming baths, like they used to try and teach me to play the guitar, which I could not do too, due to my co-ordination difficulties, especially fine motor co-ordination. This caused me great frustration and effected and triggered an emotional and behavioural reaction from-me... They would wind me up, then 'drug-me' when they had caused the behavioural and emotional reaction by trying to force me to do things I could not do.
Would you call this abuse what they did to me in care?
I can only post 2 messages a-day to this forum; is this the limit for you and everyone else? So I will not able to post anymore cause my 2 post per day limit is up.
