Registration: Archaic Song Symposium, Oxford University, 18 October 2008.
The committee for the Archaic Song Symposium would like to invite registration for those wishing to
attend. This one-day graduate conference focuses upon Archaic Greek choral and monodic poetry, with
papers being presented on a broad range of issues and poets (see below). The keynote speaker will be
Prof. Chris Carey (UCL). Confirmed session chairs are Prof. Lucia Athanassaki (Rethymno), Prof. Gregory
Hutchinson (Oxford), and Dr. Bruno Currie (Oxford).
At this stage, there is no cost for registering to attend. However, registration is essential, to allow us to
