Lecturer in Statistics (Fixed-term)

Applications are invited for the above post in the Division of Statistics. The Unit of Assessment for Statistics was graded 5 in the 2001 RAE and the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to maintaining and enhancing the Division's strong record in research and teaching. Candidates with research interests in any area of statistics or applied probability are encouraged to apply.
Salary will be within the range £30,912 - £41,545 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience (salary can progress to £48,161 per annum, subject to performance). This post is available from 1 September 2008 and will be offered on a fixed-term contract for a period of one year.
