Dear SPM users,
Can someone recommend a way to draw an ROI on an unnormalized image?
Typically we’ve used MRIcro to draw ROIs. But, when I open the unnormalized
anatomical image in MRIcro it’s not appropriately oriented (relative to the
unnormalized functional data). I think this is because the orientation
information is stored in the .mat file, which MRIcro doesn’t see.
Is there a way to apply the orientation information stored in the .mat file
to the .img and .hdr files? Alternatively, is there a way to orient the
image to be consistent with the functional data using the origin
information? Coregistering the anatomical image to the functional contrast
file does not seem to work. Perhaps coregistering to something else would
work? If there are other easier ways to draw ROI’s on unnormalized data that
would work as well.
Thank you,
Marina
