I would like to analyze a two-way anova design study (FDG PET) where there
are repeated measures across both factors (and only one subject group) but I
would like to know how I can set up the model in SPM5.
There are 2 factors, A & B
2 Levels in each factor
i.e. each subject is scanned 4 times: A1B1, A1B2, A2B1, A2B2.
The design matrix I get from the Flexible Factorial design looks ok but I
can't make any valid contrasts! I would ideally like to look at the main
effects of A & B and the interaction.
Help would be appreciated. There is further information below.
Cheers
Joel
This is what I did:
Flexible Factorial design with two factors - I have said that they are not
independent.
Put 4 scans in each of the Subject cells with Conditions [1 1; 1 2; 2 1; 2 2].
This is what I got:
The design matrix has 2 columns for A, 2 for B then 4 more (one each for
each scan). There are no subject columns.
The factor matrix in SPM.xX.I looks like this
1 1 1 1
1 1 2 1
1 2 1 1
1 2 2 1
1 1 1 1
1 1 2 1
1 2 1 1
1 2 2 1
1 1 1 1
1 1 2 1
1 2 1 1
1 2 2 1
