Document Management Associate – Macquarie Capital

UK and Europe we are currently seeking two records/information management
professionals to join our London office.
The Document Management Associate assists in the capture, classification,
and storage of Macquarie Capital documents in a way which enables efficient
and secure access to information, supports the accountability of the division
and the evidentiary integrity of documents. Macquarie Capital Document
Management is a global team and these positions report into the Document
Management Senior Manager, based in London.
Key responsibilities include:
*Respond to enquiries regarding access and retrieval of Macquarie Capital
documents
*Assist in the maintenance of the electronic document management system
*Assist in the maintenance of the records management system
*Assist in the co-ordination of Macquarie Capital Key Document Management,
ensuring key documents are identified during the course of a deal
*Create, classify and maintain hard copy files and register in the records
management system
*Assist in the maintenance of appropriate access requirements for records
according to risk assessment of records
*Assist in the archiving of onsite documents to the secondary storage facility
and provide timely retrieval services to internal customers
*Follow up outstanding box and file loans
*Assist in document management procedures induction training for all new
employees and provide education on the implications of records management
*Participate in and contribute to team projects
To be successful you will have:
*Formal qualifications in Records/Information Management or similar
*Knowledge of records management principles including issues relating to the
management of business records in paper and electronic formats and the
ability and willingness to keep up to date with new trends
*Familiarity with Internet/Intranet and the fundamentals of
networking/distributed computing environments, computer literacy
*Strong negotiation, communication and people skills
