Subject: status of the anthology
Hello everyone,
I thought I'd post an update followed by a list of contributors, each of
whom has had at least one poem accepted. I can't supply the poem titles
yet because I'm still working (in a spirit of optimism) on the ToC.
Meanwhile, I've approached another publisher, who is thinking it over
now, I believe. I've also had some chats with Peter Ciccariello, our
designer, about the possibility of publishing the anthology online, and he
too is thinking it over as the dust settles.
If any of you have questions and/or concerns about the project, feel free
to e-mail me ([log in to unmask]) or call me 1-412-421-0251. As it's 90
degrees (F) here today, I won't be going out and can take your calls up
to 10pm(EST) today. You should also know that I'm on digest and
won't see any list posts until 7pm. Perhaps by then I'll have heard
from the publisher.
In the meantime, here are the listees who've contributed to the
anthology. (If your name is missing, please let me know asap, as Andrew and
I are trying to merge our files and someone may slip through the
intercontinental cracks.) The names aren't in any particular order yet,
so don't let that throw you off either.
Peter Ciccariello, Alison Croggon, Kenneth Wolman, Tad Richards, Patrick
McManus, Lawrence Upton, Pierre Joris, Frederick Pollack, Robin Hamilton,
Mark Weiss, Jackie Litherland, Sheila E. Murphy, Andrew Burke, Larissa
Shmailo, Joanna Boulter, Halvard Johnson, David Bircumshaw, Candice Ward,
Nathan Hondros, Cindy Lee, Millicent Borges Accardia, Liz Kirby, Peter
Larkin, Tina Bass, Bob Marcacci, Renee Ashley, Randolph Healy, Jill Jones,
Caleb Cluff, Gerald Schwartz, Barry Alpert, Max Richards, Peter Howard,
Peter Riley, Sharon Brogan, Rachel Loden, Janet Jackson, Douglas Barbour,
Martin Dolan, Martin Walker, Trevor Joyce, John Tranter, and Arni Ibsen
(with permission from his widow).
Cheers,
Candice
