I gather from friends' reports that it's very fight-or-flight. Some
people get seriously stuck in. They also get seriously injured, quite often.
I have a fancy that protestors faced with charging police ought to link
arms, stand perfectly still, and sing the national anthem. Or run like
buggery, according to preference.
