Nice to see what "airs and graces" go on b/c. I hereby resign from Poetryetc.
Sorry folks, but I can't abide snobbishness in any form.
Andrew and Candice, you will have to find another publisher for the anthology, and I withdraw my
submissions.

I must say, Joe, it's good to see some home truths. What I find
intolerable is her massive ignorance, combined with a will to go on talking
at all costs, which she probably sees as heroic self-affirmation. After the
following post of hers, on the 11th -----
"A good list of poets whose work you admire, Fred.
Most of their poems feature---and from a personal perspective---the sad
guy-hero, an "outsider", not a warrior, aware that the politics and
institutions of (his corner of) the world operate against him and (most)
others, but he can neither fight back nor succeed, if he has launched his
fight. He is doomed. And so are we.
It is a powerful topic for prose and poetry. It features males who are
depressive and/or anxious. They feel impotent. Some of them escape into
brief Romance poetics. All is not good in their worlds. There is no hope.
There is only the constant feel of futility.
Their poetry uses all the traditional ('Mainstream') techniques, but is for
the most part a distilled prose, as if it would eschew the 'poetic'.
I wonder that these poets and their followers don't simply get bored with
continuous contemplation of life's tragedy after while. Would a giggle
overtake them from time to time? Probably. But they would get over it, and
go on with Tragedy As Usual."
--- I decided that deleting any post with her name would be the best
solution. Don't be bullied into withdrawing. - FP
