John Cleese was born in Weston.
Betjeman I'm sure did one of his documentaries there as well.
Ah yes, speaking of chancers. Archer was an Oxford Poly student, he
didn't graduate. Doesn't stop him claiming he "went to Oxford". He
also judged a short-story contest, then plagiarised the winning story.
His life would make a good novel, but will probably never get
written. Ironies all round.
