Looking forward to this event starting in 5 hours, within a museum not known for presenting
contemporary poetry. And I've been granted "insider's access".
Being Washington Bureau Chief for an NPR correspondent's exquisite corpse certainly turns in
another direction every local conversation starting with the omnipresent, "Who do you write for?"
The response of the individual who has just encountered me for the first time is even more
amusing when I say only, "Your exquisite corpse".
