Opportunities for enthusiastic lecturers to join our Visual Culture
group in the Department of Art and Design, to contribute to the
teaching of History of Art and Design to students on studio-based
programes at our Cat Hill, north London campus.
Focusing on the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries, our provision is
delivered through thematic inter-disciplinary modules that engage with
a diverse range of visual, spatial and institutional cultures.
Responsibilities include:
* contributing to teaching and learning at undergraduate and
postgraduate levels
* contributing to curriculum development and the ongoing review
and reform of modules
* undertaking personal research and scholarly activities and
contributing to the research profile of the group, the Department and
the University.
You should:
* be educated to PhD level (or nearing completion of a PhD) in a
relevant level
* possess experience of teaching and assessment at HE level and
the design and development of learning material
* have a comprehensive knowledge of the History of Art and Design
and Visual Culture
* have a proven ability to deliver teaching through engaging
lectures and presentations.
