Lecturer in Film History, Theory and Criticism

Salary £29,138 - £42,791 per annum
We are seeking to appoint a member of staff on a fixed term contract
to contribute to our teaching of Film history, film theory and film
criticism at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
The person appointed will have experience of teaching the subject at
H.E. level, as well as managing the organization, delivery and
assessment of modules in accordance with the quality assurance systems
and procedures put in place by the Faculty and Subject group. They
will also be expected to contribute to the full range of activities
undertaken by the Subject group, be willing to work as part of a team
and undertake duties as directed by the Area Head. An interest in the
teaching of modules based on Film Adaptation and on the history and
development of Film Studies as an academic discipline would be an
advantage.
