I think you are right unless relative is under 40 or 50. I don't think a
single colonoscopy without ongoing follow up is worthwhile; they either
need the works or not. I would refer the hon gentleman to my previous
answer.
PS I understand someone is bringing out a web-based clinical genetics
resource for non specialists soon; a preview looks encouraging and would
help generalists (like me) with this type of question).
