Position: Senior Analyst (Crime & Anti-Social Behavior data)
Location: London
Rate: Negotiable
Duration: 4 Month contract
The applicant must have experience in the one or more of the following:
* Handling Crime Anti-Social Behaviour Data or Community Safety Data
* Experience of supervising or managing staff.
* Experience of Excel, Access & SPSS
* Experience using Mapinfo GIS
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Ensure that all analytical products are fit for purpose and delivered in
the required timescale to senior management/policy makers to facilitate
effective decision making and budget deployment.
To be responsible for liaison with the police and a range of partner
analysts and staff to promote compatibility in the development,
identification, collection and dissemination of information within the
crime and ASB arena.
Develop analytical products that are to a high standard and reflective of
the changing needs of the service.
Take the lead professional role for all partner analysts involved in the
CDRP and the partnership work across the business to ensure a consistent
and standardised approach to crime and community safety analysis and
research.
To evaluate the significance, reliability and validity of data for the
CDRP and Crime and ASB Service. Including the development and management
of baselines around crime and disorder issues.
Provide line management for 3 analysts, project managing up-grade to FLARE
(anti-social behaviour case management system), provide written reports to
CDRP on performance against key LAA & CDRP.
KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:
Microsoft Office,
GIS
MS Access
SPSS
Databases.
Systems Analysis
Experience of managing projects & writing analytical reports and the
ability to manage several pieces of on-going work simultaneously & to
prioritise work against completing deadlines
