I would be grateful for any information on Rastafarianism in Sudan. I
have not been able to find other examples of persecution of Rastafarians
in Sudan to build up the case. The claimant's father is from Darfur and
mother from Ethiopia. He converted to Rastafarianism in the 1990s,
practiced in secret but wears his hair in distinctive dreadlocks. Cases
of persecution of religious minorities and punishment for apostasy would
also be helpful. Please send any help you may be able to provide to Dr.
