Dear Colleagues,
The Fourth International Stigma Conference: Second Announcement and Call
for Abstracts
*Registration is now open.*
You are cordially invited to participate in the Fourth International
Stigma Conference to be held in London, UK on 21st to 23rd January 2009
organised by the Institute of Psychiatry, King's College London and the
World Psychiatric Association Scientific Section on Stigma and Mental
Illness.
This international conference will bring together the outstanding global
research leaders in stigma and discrimination in mental health. The
meeting will focus on the state-of-the-art knowledge on effective
interventions to reduce stigma and discrimination. The presentations
will be of vital interest to all those interested and active in working
together against stigma.
You are invited to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations on
the broad theme of 'Stigma and Discrimination: Evidence for Action'.
Oral presentations are for 15 minutes each. Abstracts must be submitted
on the Abstract Submission Form by email to [log in to unmask] by 15th
September 2008. Please visit the Conference website

details. Decision on accepted abstracts will be announced in October
